It’s why founder Janay Koldingnes rewrote the book on design in 2017.

Juggling international flights, opening a new office in San Francisco and a newborn at home, Janay realized she was tired of busting her ass for top-down bureaucratic systems that had her jumping through unnecessary hoops for problems that shouldn’t have existed in the first place.

After a 15 year career working on prestigious international projects for traditional design firms, she said F-it and drafted up the concept of Edit while nursing her 6 month old son. 

What began as a sassy, against-the-grain startup matured to Vancouver’s top interior design + brand studio for commercial projects. Today, Edit Studios boasts a reputable portfolio including projects with Sony, Sage, Microsoft and every major commercial landlord in the city.
